Ranihati Degree College was established in 1995. Huge population and distance of other colleges inspired the elite persons of the locality to establish this college. Ex Head Master of Harinagar High School Md. Khairul Alam takes the main initiative to establish the college. There are lot of problems in the college. The college has not got any Govt. building yet. But the authority is trying to provide the students better environment for standared education.
